I like lots of breeds! Pit bulls are among my favorites and I will defend them against people who smear them unnecessarily. :( I love larger breeds in general - Shepherds, dobermans, rottweilers, weimaraners, great Danes...several smaller/medium breeds are cool like springer spaniels, beagles, and American dingoes. I'm not a breed elitist though and I think mutts are basically the best dogs, and I'll always prefer adoption over purchasing of a purebred. (I also think mutts are generally healthier; they avoid a lot of the genetic issues you can get with purebreeds.)

I need to give a major shoutout to greyhounds - my parents own two (both rescues), they are amazing, and I hardly knew anything about them before my family adopted them, but turns out they're really cool dogs and they make wonderful pets, and they're also gorgeous. <3
