Pugs. They're hilarious. Labradors for just awesome adokableness.

Belgian Malinois. They are like the less fucked up version of a German Shepherd.

I like too many to say for sure, but on a purely aesthetic level I'd have to say salukis. There's just something so cool about how they look. :O

I don't know that I have one. I just love dogs. We had Japanese Spitzes when I was a kid, and those are adorable (they look like small huskies). I like labs and golden retrievers and dachshunds and beagles and spaniels and border collies.

Mostly I seem to like medium sized dogs. Not tiny but not huge.

I am Dog Jesus in that I love all the dog breeds. There is no such thing as the best breed, all dogs are perfect beings no matter their bloodlines.

I'm partial to molosser type breeds, so French Bulldog, Boxer, Great Danes, Bullmastiff and Bullterriers.

Huskies. Followed by German Shepherds. I don't know what it is, I just love the dogs whose ears stand up. They look more... dog-like, to me. I guess that makes me a dog racist.

Huskies are beautiful dogs...unfortunately, they scare me shitless, due to a childhood run-in with a badly socialized one. Still, my favourite pure breed.

I like lots of breeds! Pit bulls are among my favorites and I will defend them against people who smear them unnecessarily. :( I love larger breeds in general - Shepherds, dobermans, rottweilers, weimaraners, great Danes...several smaller/medium breeds are cool like springer spaniels, beagles, and American dingoes. I'm not a breed elitist though and I think mutts are basically the best dogs, and I'll always prefer adoption over purchasing of a purebred. (I also think mutts are generally healthier; they avoid a lot of the genetic issues you can get with purebreeds.)

I need to give a major shoutout to greyhounds - my parents own two (both rescues), they are amazing, and I hardly knew anything about them before my family adopted them, but turns out they're really cool dogs and they make wonderful pets, and they're also gorgeous. <3

I am very much a cat person, but as far as dogs go, I like dogs that don't look mutated and ugly. Pugs, chihuahuas, and bulldogs are the worst - especially considering the respiratory and other health issues that have been bred into those dogs. They just look like incest gone on too long.

I like "proper" dogs. Labs, golden retrievers. Some small ones that aren't too small. Shepherd dogs. Akitas. Huskies.

Huskies and Dobermans, I think they look cool. Although I am very partial to Dachshunds as well.

I like small, cute dogs. Shih tzus, smaller poodles, westies, papillions... If it's small, cute and fluffy, I probably like it. But I also like labs and retrievers- big proper dogs.

Golden Retriever. :D I want to have another one someday! I miss her.

Don't have one :P prefer mixed breeds and landrace types.

About the only dog I'd go on a waiting list for is working type labs. The rest of purebreds I am likely to only get if it is out of a rescue or pound or some other recycled format

German Shepherds! Another I like is the Berger Blanc Suisse. A friend of mine has one and he's just so sweet.

I like herding breeds but for a family pet I love my greyhound.

I used to love my mother's Tibetan Terrier. She was a stubborn old coot, but she was a great watchdog and ratter, and I think she loved my mother more than she let on. (In retrospect, it was a lot like owning a cat.)

I love all dogs, but my favorite breed is the dachshund, followed closely by corgis and pit bulls.

I'm partial to spaniels, especially Brittanies--that's what we had when I was growing up. Also like English Springers. Belgian Tervurens/Shepherds are nice looking as well. I prefer larger breeds--small and toy breeds tend to be utterly vicious and useless.

I'm more of a cat person, though. I like dogs, I just don't want one in my house.

Though Samoyeds are pretty cool.
