Castle was on for 5 or 6 seasons before I so much as heard about it. Some people don't watch TV, or don't watch a certain channel, or really hate crime shows. It is possible to know nothing about really popular things.

It had a few big arcs that carried throughout the series, but was probably 80 percent standard procedural with a dash of quirkiness.

It was a word created by the African-American community that white people just kept repeating until the word had no meaning. Nowadays it just means some low-key bitch who doesn't even try, but it's even appeared on Star Wars shirts with Stormtroppers...so the word has been so destroyed no one knows what it's about anymore.

I don't blame you, OP. I saw a clip from the finale and was just all WTF is this even? Castle was best as a quirky procedural with some mini arcs. It got way to bogged down in its own "mythology" though.

Does anyone know if Ryan and Esposito got anything good in the finale or was it just the standard infodump role?

Well, I love me some Kevin Walker, which strangely means I love to see him hurt. So that period of time where Jason was ignoring him in Thailand and Saul was being mean during the whole "is Uncle Saul gay?" arc just hit me right in the feels.

I did not realize until looking at comments that this secret was about two different shows. I assumed the bottom picture was of minor early season Castle characters or something, and thought the "five-season show" comment was a snarky remark about how the OP didn't enjoy anything past S5 and is pretending it doesn't exist.

I feel dumb now lol.
