I really wish I had more context for this, because it's really unclear what happened. How would a filter reveal spoilers? What exactly did the fan do?
She seems like she might be overreacting a tad, but manipulating someone's photos to try and find things they clearly don't want you to see is kinda rude and a bit creepy.

Haven't you noticed that a large portion of the Sherlock fandom is rude and creepy? Which means it's par for the course. She should know that you're not supposed to tease the zoo animals.

I can never tell if the majority of the fandom has these issues or if the part that does is just more vocal. There's certainly a fair share of fans who can't stand the creepy section of the fanbase, but I've noticed that calmer fans in any fandom tend to keep out of the drama.

To be fair, she recieved death threads for the facts that she's playing the role of John Watson's wife. And some part of the thinhatter rps shippers don't seem to be keen on the fact that she and Martin Freeman are a couple in real life too.

So even though I don't know the whole context of what excatly happened here, I'm ready to give her the benefit of the doubt and can understand that she hasn't much patience to deal with the rude people in this fandom. I'm surprised she's active on twitter at all after what has happened last season.

I love this show but the crazy part of the fandom makes me even ashamed to admit I'm watching it.

I think it was to be expected, but I think she also had cause to lose her temper about it, given how entitled the fans are generally and the fact that she and others probably got in trouble for it (though that's obvs her fault for posting). People should be allowed to act like human beings sometimes without being dragged, and she did apologise.

Not only did this bit of fan sleuthing not really do any harm, the fact that the show has fans that are this interested and devoted to closely examining every bit of info they can get is truly a compliment to the show. So the fact that AA was so upset over this in the first place is weird. But the fact that she was so hot-headed as to resort to using abusive language against people is what really disappoints me.

I feel like this is a person who is probably not cut out to be involved in projects that get this much attention. Which is fine; the same could be said of a lot of people. But she is involved in this project, and she really ought to have gotten her head around what that means by now.
