OK, well, thanks for busting in here and spreading the idea that girls with longer labia have "a case" for getting it fixed.

Can you even read?

Sorry, I'm not going to continue if you're going to be an asshole.

You're the one accusing me of things in this thread here, friend. I'm not arbiter of what is considered "long" labia minor by beauty standards. I also said I don't recommend taking that definition to heart.

Anon wanted to know what some people have decided is a standard, and I supplied some information because I happened to be privy to it.

I really don't think that's warranted. Your comment read as uncritical of such a position to me as well. I chose to interpret your words in the most favorable/positive way as possible (giving the benefit of the doubt) but that doesn't mean you're right to imply someone is illiterate for calling out the questionable wording you used.

My point was more that I said right in my comment I don't personally recommend taking that definition when anon stated I was purposefully "spreading the idea".

I am most definitely not.

Your comment read as uncritical of such a position to me as well.

The last sentence of his comment is, "I'm personally not sure it's healthy to take the cosmetic definition as gospel, though." That's...critical of the position.

I can see how it could be read that way. To me it did not seem to be rejecting the idea that certain size labia are ugly. There is no clear denunciation of the idea that labias should be a certain size or appearance in it, just Herpy saying plastic surgeon's ideal labias shouldn't be taken as fact.

I might agree if the phrase "not healthy" wasn't in there. That's a pretty clear negative judgment of the position.

As it was meant to be. Thank you, anon.

Maybe I would too if he hadn't said "I'm not sure". I take that as a neutral stance; neither confirming nor denying. It simply introduces the possibility that the stance may be wrong: it doesn't argue that it IS wrong.

A critical response would be "You shouldn't take a personal surgeon's definition as gospel".

I disagree. I think an uncritical response wouldn't introduce any kind of doubt or implication that the stance is unhealthy. It would just present the stance without comment.

I get having issues with this particular user, but that is not what they said at all. They never implied there was "a case" for anything.

Yeah, they didn't imply it. They said it. " At least... enough to warrant a good case for surgical alteration (or so I'm told)."
