This. I vote for Andrew Jackson as the worst president. Bush was bad, but I wouldn't call him the worst.

Yeah, I was also thinking Jackson. He was an incredibly entertaining president, presuming you're the sort who can take a step back and enjoy history for history's sake. But gosh he was a terrible president.

I once saw a poll of US historians on the question of the worst president. Buchanan came in at the bottom for his complete failure to deal with the impending civil war.

Yeah, I was going to throw my vote in for Buchanan, myself.

And I mean, I guess you could make an argument for William Henry Harrison, but it's not like he had enough time to do much wrong either...
