Rats and mice

Snakes (at least the non-venomous kind, might feel differently if I lived in an area where there were lots of venomous snakes)

Bees (srsly idgi at all)

Wasps

Carpenter ants

OTOH I shit myself about spiders and cockroaches.

I get being scared of bees and wasps if you are allergic but really, bees? They are fluffy and adorable.

Not if you happen to piss off a killer bee/Africanized honeybee.

Well yeah, obviously, actually dangerous versions of otherwise harmless insects are different (although panicking is usually counterproductive). I don't have a huge problem with snakes and still wouldn't want to piss off a really poisonous one.
(Then again, I'm irrationally scared of bigger dragonflies so... yeah. I do get it when people are scared of regular bees.)

Spiders are the worst.

I only understand being scared of bees if you are allergic. Bee stings barely hurt at all, and bees don't make a terrifying buzzing when they come at you either, they just sound adorably pissed off while they meander around trying to shoo you away. Bees buzzing sounds really soothing to me actually.

Wasps are a different story though. (But still not nearly as scary as most people make them out to be.)

"Bee stings barely hurt at all"--really? Maybe I am allergic then, because bee stings swell and hurt like fuck, but I've never had trouble breathing or a rash or anything from being stung. Just a lot of pain. I used to panic when bees got too close to me because being stung hurt so much. Now I don't panic, although I suppose I would if I pissed off a whole hive or something, because we have a hive on our property and if I panicked every time I saw a bee up close I'd die of a heart attack.

Well, the more you get stung by bees, the less it hurts, your body kind of starts recognizing the venom or something. The first couple times hurt a lot for most people, but if you keep getting stung more than once per year, it eventually really doesn't hurt or swell much after the initial prick. Maybe ayrt has been stung by bees several times.

And I guess it also varies from person to person. Some people are more sensitive to the venom than others.

Yeah, snakes don't really bother me, either. But like you, I'm not surrounded by venomous ones, either, so that does help a bit :p.

I share in your disgust of spiders and cockroaches. And I remember my dad hated wasps. Didn't help that he got stung by one once and his arm swelled up a bit as a result.
