Fandom likes to toss out accusations it doesn't know the first thing about. Those people are a bunch of ignorant fuckers that don't know how the real world operates.

If a relationship isn't all smiles and rainbows, it's abusive. Either they can only see things in extreme black and white or they're just they're just making up excuses to hate something. Either way they are fucking dumbshits who drag people who actually been through terrible situations through the mud so they can feel morally superior. Fuck those guys.

Well, considering that a majority of those posts are written by teenagers who have NO CLUE how teh world or teh adult world and experiences work...is it any surprise?

It's not as numerous as it is with tye younger crowd, but yeah, I have ad well. :/

Which baffles me even more since fandom as we grew up with, was far more accepting of the whole "ship and let ship" and YKINMKATOK. And the like.

True, but there were also people who were unhappy about that and wanted to police what other people liked. I remember lots of fuss over the existence of noncon fic back in the nineties, and people throwing fits over the existence of the Boys in Chains website.

Although I do think a lot of tumblr's pearl-clutchers would probably have dropped over dead if they had ever encountered the Grey Archive.
