You're right and it pisses me off so much

Like, even setting aside representation (which is obviously much more significant) - goddammit, who got the idea that when you're pandering to people who like women, the best way to do that is to have just straight up eye candy? That's terrible! I want to see some fucking characters who do things, that's what I'm attracted to, for God's sake. I can't imagine that it would really be the case that the majority of men want nothing more than eye candy. It's terrible and bizarre. Don't just throw a single hot woman actress onto the show. Bah.

Goddamn slash shippers don't know how good you have it, in terms of shipping potential alone.
