All of them. I hate pranks and so-called practical jokes. They are just a form of bullying.

Rubbish. They can be but they can also be a form of social bonding between already established friends. There are different levels.

Nothing to add but a hearty +1 to your comment.

I'm with you on this anon. Like Margot said in The Good Life "I never really understood jokes, so I became the butt of them".

Oh please. It very much depends on the person. Some people love a good practical joke. If someone has specifically told you they don't enjoy practical jokes, or if they seem like the kind of person that might be able to handle them, then maybe.

Maybe you had to be there. It sounds funny when it's written up.

someone taking a swing at me like they were going to hit me and then pulling their hand aside at the last second. Not funny.

I think in general any joke that relies on a person's fears isn't funny. e.g. putting a rubber spider in the bed of someone who's arachnophobic.

I once saw some sort of detergent (?) commercial where they set up a Candid Camera-style "joke" where people pretended to steal babies out of prams - the mothers were not in on this and were terrified until the babies were brought back and they were told it was a commercial. Don't know what the fuck those people thought they were doing, seriously.

Well to be fair, commercials like that are usually staged.
