Veteran F!Sers (especially anons)

(Anonymous) 2016-06-19 09:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Do you ever read F!S posts from way back, and if you do, can you recognize your own old anon comments? Even if they're not that specific to you, are you ever just able to tell? Because it happens to me a lot, and it kind of freaks me out.

I don't read F!S posts from way back that often, but when I do I can usually notice my own posts, yeah.

Yes! There's this weird shock of recognition. The only analogy I can think of is that is as if I was browsing TV channels and then someone on screen turned around and spoke directly to me.

I fondly remember the LJ stuff, especially the epic wank threads. Man those were fun, we should be allowed those again.

I don't really re-read though. What is the point of that, once about four hours from posting have gone by all the conversation is over and it is just people adding me-too comments to the end of existing threads. The actual replies and convos go on in the first two or three replies.

There is still one anon comment of mine that is the only thing that comes up in google if I google a specific phrase.

I sometimes google it just to lol again.

I've lost all ability to tell which troll posts are mine and which ones are real.

It's actually weird, cause I can for a fact know I have my name on it, but I don't remember all, or eyeroll at myself. But I don't often re-read.

Other way around. I remember my own comments from various threads, google them, and end up reading old posts from way back.

I've been here since 2007.
