I'll admit I'm in the ended with boarding the Falcon camp. Mainly because I want nice gaps between the movies, and the finding Luke feels too much like it will be tight continuity and tight serialization (which is a JJ Abrams kinda thing) and I don't like that. Loose serialization and continuity, yes, tight pick ups from a cliffhanger every episode, no. However, the scene itself was not badly performed in any way. I think it did a competent job of showing a man in shock at his past catching up with him and a young woman in awe of a living legend in front of her.
