Writing non-con, death-fic, graphically violent fic, etc. about real people is majorly squicky

I've heard stories about people bringing actual personal tragedies celebrities went through into their RPF about the celebrity in question, and that just makes me uncomfortable on SO many levels. Like, if I'm going to write RPF, I want it to be totally fluffy, happy stuff. No way would I want to use their personal pain to fuel my own fantasies with them somehow.

I really don't get the people who happily show the celebrities these kinds of fics. What exactly do they think is going to happen if they do that? Do they think they'll be praised for their brilliant writing skills and proposed to on the spot or something?
