Thank you! You don't have to like Jack/Gwen to like Gwen. The hating of her just because Jack might also happen to want to shag her too is ridiculous (Jack wants to shag everybody people). Hell maybe we're being set up for a threesome.

And the character hate spilling over on the actress? She plays a role on TV, wanting her to die is not okay.

Psst-- you don't have to hate Jack/Gwen to hate Gwen. I rather like the idea of it (except for Rhys getting hurt), and anyway, Jack shags everyone. I just don't like Gwen.

Agreed that hating the actrss because of her character is lame and disturbing.

But then, it's more than a bit dickish to say someone has issues because they simply Do Not Like a character. Shipping never comes into play with whether or not I like a character. I simply don't like her. Either you're leaping to conclusions, or just being dick, y'know...

13. I like the Danjou song because it's a silly, catchy song that refuses to make sense (and yes, I understood the lyrics). But the best ones I've seen of it was the original (Vocaloid), Gundam 00, JoJo and a couple of Reborn ones.

14. Fuck yeah, Even Stevens. LMAO, when I was 20 years old and it was still running, I loved this show a lot. A drop of goodness from the pure shit Disney Channel was churning out.

26. Well, not all artists have to be perfect in the manga/anime world. I think her art is fine, if they see worth in that, let them pay for it. At least it's not a painting with a red dot in the middle of the canvas that's worth millions.

46. Reborn isn't that popular except in LJ, DA (only because most of the people are from the LJ comm) and /cm/ and /y/ in 4chan. Most of the people got into it because they loved the characters and/or the story. Its accessibility and awesome characters are what made the fandom grow. I personally love Reborn AND Kaiji, but I find it weak that you felt the need to put down one series for another. Kaiji and Akagi aren't that "unknown" either, it has shit ton of fanart (which I can attest in from my pic folder) from Japan, a lot of doujins as well (although no one scans them for nobody), 4chan's /a/, /cm/ and /y/ circlejerk around it CONSTANTLY and Kaiji got pretty far in SaiGAR (and Akagi was one of the final four). Hell, mention Akagi or Kaiji in a random anime board and you get people who will know it. Not the same for Reborn and it even has a English release that been out for 2 YEARS and just in the last year, its popularity boomed because people talked about it. I think the Reborn LJ comm is so active because it's one of the few places that you can discuss about it. If you want to pimp for fandom, so ahead and do it, but if you need to put down a series for it, it just makes you look butthurt and probably discourage people who are interested, especially ones who is in the fandom that you just put down.

57. I knew of Constantine though the Books of Magic and loved him there. I expected the movie to suck, especially because of Keanu Reeves and his method of "acting", but I ended up enjoying the movie and thought Keanu actually acted okay because it was different than he usually does. While I think comic Constantine was definitely better, I think the Constantine in movie and the movie's story were good as well.

60. Well the show's fanservice usually serves as a parody anyway and I like when they poke fun at it. One of the reasons I adore the show.

I can't remember the artist's name, but the art is of Venus from the game Metal Gear Ac!d 2. There's an online gallery of concept art on the official site (http://www.konami.jp/gs/game/mga2/america/deep_gallery_00.html), although you can find higher res pictures on the Metal Gear Wiki (for instance, this one (http://images.wikia.com/metalgear/images/e/e8/Acid2Art.jpg)).
