I love that you literally have to *go outside and walk around* to play the game. That is excellent. And yes, whatever, people walking around unconscious of their surroundings, blah blah, but people do that all the time, anyway, texting and stuff.

I think it's just neat.

My mom just called and was complaining about how her whole facebook is full of Pokemon posts, until I said 'Yeah I like it because I went on a mile walk today' and she was thrilled. She didn't realize it required you to get up and move, and thought that was just great. As did my grandmother, who thinks I'm weird for playing video games. I even came home from the grocery store and mentioned there had been a rare pokemon there, just to see what she would say, and she put on her 'I don't get it but I'm happy for you' face.

Heee! Yeah, it's neat. Here, it's in the nineties and muggy as hell, so not *amazingly* nice outside, but if you wait until the sun's going down, about sixish, then it cools off a little, and there's usually a breeze, and you have a couple hours of light, still, to walk around. Apparently, there's a ton at the local park, here, so that's cool, too. :)

It was unusually cool today so I got to wander around for a bit. My town is relatively flat, too, so that was useful.

I went out for a walk today and passed someone staring at her phone. Our eyes met, and we knew... that there was a Golbat around, goddammit.
