14- You are so right. Every time I read her books I think, "Wow," and then, one day later, I have NO IDEA WHAT I JUST READ. It's like they come with a little "Obliviate" spell so that you can read them again and again as if for the first time (which is a little fantasy of mine with books, actually).

Oh god, yes. If people would just watch the first few episodes, the art style fades away and it just starts to look completely normal.
I guess that's why I start people off with Kaiji though. It's a bit easier for people to get into, whereas Akagi starts of so slow that I actually fell asleep trying to watch the first few episodes of it.

Agreed so hard. The series has just been getting darker and darker from its onset; giving them a happy ending would feel really wrong and out of place. For the sake of good storytelling, let'em go down in flames. I personally think that Dean's going to die and drive Sam completely crazy, though.

54. I personally feel that there should be no comparison made here at all. One is an established game set in the canon universe, while the other is just a game where differently established versions of the same characters come together. That puts it at a rather uneven comparison, doesn't it?

Development depends on the muns, so honestly, comparing the two places like that simply reeks of someone trying to stir up an unnecessary rivalry. When there isn't and shouldn't BE any. If you're going to play Phoenix in a dressingroom game, then play on, good for you. You might find a game to put him into eventually. I just don't see why a comparison needs to be made over what's better and what's not when there's no need for it.

61. I agree with this, but at the same time, the dr IS an open for all place. However, yes, at times even I feel a bit swamped, I'm a regular player there and naturally we don't have all the time in the world to play, but I would definitely love to see more development of characters in the DR than all the crack and silliness when it isn't necessary.

The mods feel the same way, don't worry. It's a long shot, but we do hope that people can get involved in proper plot development for themselves as time goes on. And hopefully we can get all the missing players back too. :3

Byakuya's not boring. Byakuya is HILARIOUS. Every single element of his character (excluding his power, his power's pretty all right) is so dumb that you can't help laugh, from his incredibly stupid motivation to his painfully bad haircut. I mean, he wears curlers, WTF.

But yeah, Yumichika and Ikkaku are superior. Especially Ikkaku, i can take Yumichika or leave him.

13 - I have never seen any instances of this, mostly because all my friends who watch it are actually metal (srsly). I'm VERY unmetal, but I don't think watching this show makes me metal: I appreciate it for the humour etc. (I really do, it's genius)

Much as I agree with your secret, I think I'm actually inclined more towards the opposite. I tend to .first. feel a little less about the artist if all the friends she has can't draw for nuts, more so if ALL they do is spend time gushing about art of said art friend (not much competiton or even constructive feedback, is there) I dunno... maybe it's me, but it turns me off more because it's like some shrine club that revolves around said artist and her groupies, and that's not the kind of unbalanced people/friendship dynamics I can relate to or am keen on. Although that's hard to judge, since each friend should have something the other friend looks up to and vice versa, which might not nessecarily be good art.

I guess it's all about maintaining a healthy relationship balance between your friends, you know what they say about how the kind of people you keep around you reflects the kind of person you are.

I like his fanon color scheme because he reminds me of Beat. But his canon scheme is also nice because then he kind of looks like Nishi.

Either way, he plays video games. And I sure do like them video games.
