I have never been more tempted to ask 'are you me??' before.

So, uh, are you me?

I'm writing a big term paper on fanfic authors who've 'gone straight,' so if the author of secret 9 would be willing to drop me a line (e-mail's in my profile) and let me know who they're talking about that would be fantastic and I'd be incredibly grateful. I'm now kind of terrified it's someone I've missed so far.

46. YES. THANK YOU! I've been noticing this cynical attitude a lot lately, and it sometimes gets to the point that I feel like I'm the only one actively EXCITED and proud of it. I miss that enthusiasm that fandom used to have, and I hope it makes a return. Because when I feel like the geeky one in my own fandoms--and even at conventions, occasionally--something isn't quite right.

#64) Absolutely! If it's my personal OTP or my personal favorite character, I CANNOT stand reading any lemony fics about them, nor roleplaying something smutty with them in it. Everyone else's OC or even some canon characters are fine when to comes to smut, but never ever my own favorites.

And I don't think the term "lemon" is outdated! As far as I'm concern, that term/rating still exists!

I understand when it's before the official spelling of the name comes out (this usually happens in the anime fandom when the person's name is foreign), but when you continue to use the misspelling, especially on purpose, I get a little irritated (for the last time, it's Lavi, not Rabi or Ravi, but Lavi. Hoshino-sensei agreed, don't bother her about it. Damn. LMAO.)

44. While I'm still a Christian, I say Grandia 2 was that game for me. It made me believe that blind faith wasn't true faith and made me question everything I hear from a preacher before I can actually believe it. I realized that there's too much guilttripping within my religion and it blinds the fact of why we're Christians in the first place. I like to think it made my faith stronger in that I don't have to agree with every Christian's beliefs either. Thanks, Grandia 2.

56. Even though I like Akagi, it isn't for everybody (4chan's /a/'s opinion on that, notwithstanding). People criticizing on the show's not clearly explaining the mahjong jargon hampering the enjoying of the show is valid criticism, but because of the art work is not. I mean judging on a show solely on its art style is kinda shallow. I mean if I did that, I would've missed out on some great anime series.

I'm not a troll. It's genuinely how I feel. If you noticed, I specifically noted livejournal and its ilk. FF.net, Gaia, and 4chan are another kettle of fish entirely.

On the internet and IRL, I believe it's been proven without a doubt that EQ gets you way further in life than IQ ever will. You don't need a lot of book smarts to figure that one out, and I've had my fair share of interaction with people from both sides of the grade curve to feel this way.

On a secret note, I so feel I'm slightly smarter than the average populace, but it's part circumstantial, because I was lucky enough to have access to better education facilites, more funding, stuff I was *actually* interested in studying etc... I don't think I was naturally 'smart'. I just had the right help.

I will not deny that I am a smartarse, though, haha... and why yes, it is kind of ironic I'm mentioning this in the pit voles of wank-bait that is F!S.. haha.
