I'm eating dark chocolate right now. It's good, but it's just not as good as milk chocolate.

Dark chocolate is definitely better for my palate, but I do feel like milk chocolate gets an unfair rap in America at least because it gets associated with Hershey's and similar styles which is bad for reasons that have nothing to do with being milk chocolate.

I didn't like Hersheys when I tried it. It tastes kind of.. like saw dust?

I'm in France and we have some pretty damn good milk chocolate over here. Oh man, its so creamy an intense.

Hershey's uses a particular process of making milk chocolate which is much cheaper but also ends up tasting weird and kind of sour.

I can believe you'd have good milk chocolate! The creaminess does appeal, but I just like that touch of bitterness from dark chocolate too much.

I think you'd like some of the darker milk chocolates. Around 53% it has a slight touch of the bitterness but also the creaminess. :)

I only like dark chocolate if it's with something. Like almonds. Or blood orange caramel. Or something else. I don't like dark chocolate by itself, but I do love milk chocolate by itself.

This has dragon ginger in it. It's very tasty. :)

Blood orange caramel sounds delicious.

Vosges makes a blood orange caramel. I've seen it once or twice at the World Market/Fresh Market. It's so good!

I'll eat dark chocolate every one in a while, but I definitely prefer milk chocolate. For some reason good milk chocolate is getting hard to find in shops where I live. Everyone sells pretty much nothing but dark chocolate, or milk chocolate with (insert thing I don't want here). I just want some plain milk chocolate, why does no one have anything but Hersey's? ;_;

I work in a gourmet grocery store with tons of fancy chocolate bars, and there are so few options for milk chocolate! I wish I knew why, but the companies only offer one or two options. I guess dark chocolate got very popular, and there was definitely a narrative about it being "healthy" for a while....

This is so weird to me because I can go to Walgreens and have a choice of, like, 5 different brands of milk chocolate bar.

I vastly prefer dark to milk chocolate.
