lmao should i tell this to one of my closest friend who has a laurea cum laude in Classical Studies (Latin AND Greek) and is currently working in a fast food chain? and she simply wants to be a teacher, not a lawyer!

idek man, Latin is just useless from where i come from. sure, you can impress your friends and read the scripts on all the cool monuments but at the end of the day you don't really use it if not for law or... church stuff i suppose?
also, simply stating that you studied latin in your CV doesn't mean anything usually. nobody SPEAKS it nowadays (even in Vatican they don't speak CLASSICAL Latin).
