(Anonymous) 2016-07-30 10:36 pm (UTC)(link)idek man, Latin is just useless from where i come from. sure, you can impress your friends and read the scripts on all the cool monuments but at the end of the day you don't really use it if not for law or... church stuff i suppose?
also, simply stating that you studied latin in your CV doesn't mean anything usually. nobody SPEAKS it nowadays (even in Vatican they don't speak CLASSICAL Latin).

Employers want people with hands-on experience and good references, not someone who has read Cicero. I am confident enough to say you are objectively wrong, unless you are going into a field that actively uses Lain.
