This might have been true in the 1960s (when Latin was often compulsory). It is not true today.

Today, on the American job hunt, a college education, no matter how ~classical~, is useless. Employers want people with hands-on experience and good references, not someone who has read Cicero. I am confident enough to say you are objectively wrong, unless you are going into a field that actively uses Lain.
