I understand the idea but most of your examples are so simplified they're basically meaningless. Youre trying to explain it like it's logical when it's not.
Cap and Tony are somehow opposites but Dean and Cas are just the same? Just because the differences don't interest your shipping brain doesn't mean they're not there.

I think OP is trying to categorize it in a way that makes sense to them, which appears to work broadly, but ultimately sometimes it's hard to identify why the brain will latch on to one ship and not another...
It's like how I like listening to "dramatic songs" while walking, but some of the songs that my brain decides it likes and can use for drama are not songs that I would normally classify as being particularly dramatic, and vice-versa.
