Re: Niantic shut down pokemon hunting sites
I feel like I'm missing something.

And I also heard that they cut down the overall radar distance though I'm not sure if that's true.
Re: Niantic shut down pokemon hunting sites
But I take your point about something being taken away from the game. That does answer my question about how people can possibly deserve a refund because something that was unaffiliated with the creators is gone.

(Anonymous) 2016-07-31 11:14 pm (UTC)(link)tracking is essential to the gameplay, just because you've done fine "stumbling upon" things doesn't mean that's how the game is supposed to function, and was promised to function.
Re: Niantic shut down pokemon hunting sites
I'm not seeing anything on the website that suggests they expected people to spend time tracking specific pokemon the way people did with the hunting sites.

(Anonymous) 2016-08-01 06:49 pm (UTC)(link)...again, not sure how many times I have to repeat this, I'm not talkig about side sites, I'm talking about the in-game tracker.

(Anonymous) 2016-08-01 05:14 am (UTC)(link)But now? Now it's not fun anymore. I don't enjoy going around and around in circles for the better part of an hour and not having any clue whether I'm getting closer or further away. It's just frustrating seeing things show up on the list and not being able to catch any of them because you don't even know where to start hunting for them. I can only imagine how much worse it is for people who don't live in very populated areas and don't have many Pokemon that show up around them.
