You know those big concrete blocks that are used on construction sites as weights, they have an arched space under them for scaffold bars or pipes and shit to go underneath them without crushing them, is there a specific name for those things?

No, those are too big. The blocks I'm thinking of are about a foot and a half long, maybe eight inches or so high and look kinda like concrete duplo bricks.

Not quite, but closer. If that grove was on the long side rather than the short end and it was rounded off than squared off edges.
