Oh, yes. My parents are both horribly offended by the remake (though if the movie sticks closer to the book than the original movie, which I doubt, they will be less annoyed).

Don't worry, 90% of people don't even know they did. Paramount is like not advertising it.

The only reason I'm watching it is because an actor i like is there. That's it. Can't wait to be the only one in the theater.

I'll be right there with you. Big fan of the original, no one can outdo Heston, there's a lot of cgi in that trailer etc. Doesn't mean I'm not excited.
