Er, that's not how headcanons work. Headcanons are extra-canonical, not in conflict with canon. OP says it's their headcanon this happened after Arwen's *death*, not marriage, and there's nothing in canon that says elves cannot fade after going to the west (see: Miriel Serinde).

Pointless nitpick - I so dislike "Serinde". Her name should rightfully be Therindë. (That was what "The Shibboleth of Fëanor" was about.)
