Re: Have you ever been "THAT" customer?

Nope. It's surprisingly easy to not take your frustrations out on other people, especially innocent service staff.

I mean, if I had terrible service or some issue, I'll respectfully ask to talk with the manager, but I keep it professional and certainly don't throw tantrums.

Sorry not everybody is as perfect as you, and sometimes a frustration or disappointment at the register is just the last straw on a mountain of straws.

nayrt - Your standards for perfect are quite low if all it entails is not taking out frustrations on innocent people.

It's also surprisingly easy not to lie about having a spotless customer record to make yourself look good anonymously on the internet, and yet.

The fact that you assume it's normal for people to throw tantrums at customer service workers says something about you, not me.

Everyone has done it. If you think you haven't, you're just not self-aware enough to realize that you have. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but at some point in your life you have been THAT customer, and there is a worker somewhere out there who remembers you.

Re: Have you ever been "THAT" customer?

(Anonymous) 2016-08-23 12:27 am (UTC)(link)
lmao okay. you sure do sound like the expert in tantrums, after all.

Re: Have you ever been "THAT" customer?

Lmao NO. You're most definitely projecting here.

I can see you're trying really hard to rationalize this, but no.

No, not necessarily...

Okay, two things here:

1) You think it's a worthwhile goal to "make yourself look good anonymously on the internet".

2) You think it's sooooooo hard not to yell at customer service people that you don't believe anyone could possibly refrain from doing it.

Just... wow.

anon I hate to break it to you but your "anti-tantrum" stance sounds astonishingly like a tantrum in itself

Re: Have you ever been "THAT" customer?

(Anonymous) 2016-08-23 11:54 am (UTC)(link)
That makes no sense. AYRT sounds a little smug but that isn't a tantrum? And honestly, anti-tantrum is the stance we should ALL take when it comes to dealing with CS. I don't have a spotless record myself but I still consider going off on service people really bad behavior.

Re: Have you ever been "THAT" customer?

(Anonymous) 2016-08-23 12:20 am (UTC)(link)
Funny you come across like you're throwing a little bitch tantrum here because nobody's giving you asspats for being better than everyone else in this thread.

I don't think I've ever had a moment of being "THAT customer" either but I think you're being a self righteous little pissant.

Re: Have you ever been "THAT" customer?

(Anonymous) 2016-08-23 12:30 am (UTC)(link)
I rather think you're projecting. It is absolutely laughable to assume everyone throws "little bitch tantrums" like you do to customer service. Oh I'm sorry, you tried to grab your "..except for ME" cookies in the same sentence, I stand corrected.

And fuck yeah do I think throwing tantrums at customer service is disgraceful behavior, and yes, I do think people should be ashamed to do it.

Re: Have you ever been "THAT" customer?

(Anonymous) 2016-08-23 01:24 am (UTC)(link)
I'm saying that even people who haven't done what the OP is talking about think you're being a little shit.

I think it's a little disgraceful to stand on a pedestal and condemn a bunch of people for throwing fits when you're throwing a fit at people who criticize you.

Congrats, you don't take your anger out on retail workers. You just act rude to anonymous people online instead. That's much better.

Re: Have you ever been "THAT" customer?

(Anonymous) 2016-08-23 02:51 am (UTC)(link)
Nope. There's only one person in this thread who comes across like they're "throwing a little bitch tantrum" and it's the person who insists that anyone who hasn't gone off on someone in customer service must be lying.

Re: Have you ever been "THAT" customer?

(Anonymous) 2016-08-23 03:40 am (UTC)(link)
This whole thread is some Grade-A humblebragging. Sorry everyone's not clamoring to stroke your e-peen for you.

And no I don't think it's unbelievable that someone has never lost their shit at customer service workers. You're just being a ridiculous fuckbag.

At least some people in this thread are straight up admitting they did something wrong or could have been better. But you don't have any room to talk about how you don't throw tantrums with your behavior here.

Reading this thread late... these comments must all come from the same anon, right? Who else could be so nonsensical and unnecessarily aggressive, lol.
