Bugchasing/giftgiving.

I mean...WHY would you want to voluntarily get HIV? On the other hand, WHY would you want to infect someone with it? I get the whole "taboo" or "thrill" aspect but...there's less deadly kinks out there that have the same effects. Why go around spreading a nasty, incurable disease?

This is a thing? There was an episode of Judging Amy where a homeless teenager took drugs from a needed used by someone HIV positive so he could get into a home of some sort for HIV positive people. But I didn't think that was an actual thing in real life.

I don't know if it's a huge thing, but I have seen it on a couple "kink" lists from time to time, so I figured it counted.

Yeah wouldn't something like...the clap, or herpes, or some other less life-destroying STD hit this kink just as well?

Unless it partly involved some kind of homophobia-in-the-'80s-'90s sort of plot, which goes beyond the realm of kink IMO...
