There's pros and cons to both for me.

Sci-fi pros: Medication, fast travel
Sci-fi cons: Everything is a screen/run by robots, every space suit I've ever seen is ugly, no one can hear you scream

Fantasy pros: Beautiful clothing, everything is castles and fields and wild animals, MAGIC
Fantasy cons: Medical care is iffy at best, burned at the stake as a "witch," not LGBTQ friendly, etc., EVIL MAGIC

Fantasy world medical care: healing potions, spells that cure diseases. Of course there's also spells that give you diseases, but sci-fi worlds also have tailored viruses so it's a wash.
