Re: Favorite Autumnal / Melancholy Things

Colorful leaves leave me melancholy. They're pretty, but I hate what follows after (because winter lasts 7 months here) and I'm not ready to let go of summer.

I like big scarves and being able to wear suede boots without ruining them. It's not too cold to wear a simple leather jacket or go outside without a hat or gloves.

I like the crisp mornings when it's cool and the fog is so thick you can't see where you're going, and it sticks to your face if you run or cycle too fast...

I like that during nighttime it's actually dark outside but there's no snow.

I love the Day of the Dead because I like candles and visiting graveyards.
