It seems like it would actually be easier to map various points to an actors face and body with various corresponding points on the dragon's face and body than to try to rig the entire thing on your own, step by step. And it would look more realistic too since you're not having to make as much shit up, they're actual movements. Due to phylogenic similarities between species, movements from a human can be inferred to different species without breaking plausibility.
