I didn't really have a group, and I was always in the awkward position of being too brainy for most of my classmates, yet not brainy or aware enough for the really brainy kids. Some of my friends were in a similar boat (which makes sense, really), others were closer to the stereotypes.

At the end of the day, I was probably a combination of Neville and Luna from Harry Potter. That's probably the easiest way to explain it.
