In a lot of online groups we had a rule that you should specify if you want "Good juju" AKA thoughts and prayers, and/or "sympathy" and/or "advice" and anyone who gave the wrong one in the situation was an asshole. It made things a lot easier on everyone. It's nice that you appreciate getting thoughts and prayers during tough times, but that doesn't mean other people don't hate it. You are not the moral compass of the universe, you know.

I wasn't making a moral judgment. Other people can hate it all they like. JFC.

Dude, I'm an atheist, but even I can appreciate the sentiment there.

O RLY. Because that sounds an awful lot like a passive-aggressive version of "you're being ridiculous."
