Why do they do this? Because they like their stereotypical m/f dynamic while still maximizing the amount of cock in their porn? (am I being too cynical?)

So?

It's actually more common, in my experience, in gay fiction written by gay men, than it is among female slashers

Although I will echo the "So?" because I'm exhausted with overanalyzing and policing other women's sexual fantasies.

...if the author is self aware about the feminization kink. there are some I'm not sure they *realize* they're not writing a woman

I don't even think we should analyze or police self-awareness. I'm exhausted with policing period. I'm willing to give any writer the benefit of the doubt that they're just writing what turns them on.

I've had it with policing.

And on a side note, I think the way to ameliorate internalized misogyny would be to pay everyone an equal wage and treat them with equal respect under the law, no matter their gender.

I guess I'm just annoyed at the entire trend of cock worship. Maybe that is unfair :/ people like what they like. But it annoys me that people want feminization without actually including women, and it annoys me that submission and femininity are constantly equated.

I don't really care what people write or read or fap to, but the terminology OP alluded to annoys me for those reasons.

Idk, I think it makes sense. Feminine =/= women. Saying that m/m with a feminine man might as well have a woman doesn't make any sense to me, because there's no dearth of m/f out there; anyone who wants similar m/f content can easily find it, so it's not like people are "settling" for some off-brand version of women.

True, but why then use female anatomy terms?

(Anonymous) 2016-09-27 12:05 am (UTC)(link)
I see gay men use it (as mentioned above) though, like "I want to destroy his bussy" or whatever. Not just slash fangirls.

I'm honestly just so curious about this term I want to know how it came to be so bad.

Bi guy here so I suppose you can take this with a grain of salt, but "bussy" seems to generally be used in jest. It's kind of...uhh, what's the word I'm looking for, "femme shaming"? It's often said in the "gay voice" and it's implied that it's supposed to be a queeny guy saying "oh fuck my bussy", that type of thing.
