Heh. Let's see...Yusuke/Kuwabara. They do the whole I'm violent with you because I don't like you but I really do thing, they have each other's back with outbursts of passionate emotion on a regular basis (Yusuke flipped his shit at the end of the DT and Kuwabara did the same at the beginning of the Makai Tournament) and we won't even get into the kiss during the Spirit Detective arc. So I give a big thumbs up to the subtext.

But if you can't see evidence for Kurama/Hiei, then I guess we weren't watching the same show. Even when my boyfriend sees them on screen, he snorts, rolls his eyes and declares: Those two are defintely fucking. Could they be more obvious about it!?

Are you serious? I can't stand wading through the putrid fecal lagoons of wangstfic in the Zim fandom. And it's NEVER been very good. I've read some good Zim fic, but I lost count of how much written-by-a-wrist-slashing-13-year-old badfic I've read along the way. I love Zim, but the fandom makes me a sad fangirl.

And in general, I lose a little more hope for society's future every time someone raves about how fabulous an ABSOLUTE PURE SHIT fic is. I swear to God 95% of a fandom wouldn't know good writing if they were smacked in the face with a copy of it. GAH.

67. I'm having pretty much the same issue with buying doujinshi, especially from proxy bidding services. It's so incredibly easy to conveniently "forget" the fees that using such a service incurs. Not to mention that it can be so fucking addictive. :/

Yeah, the fees are really annoying. I'm using Celga, and their fees are kind high. And I totally agree with you on it being addictive. D:
