09. He’s a fairly divisive person, actually. I like him ok, but plenty don’t. I know if I hear ‘fierce’ ONE MORE TIME, I’m going to somehow sic lions, tigers, and bears on his skinny, precocious ass.

10. I <3 the selfish loafer Wolfram, but Yuuri has good reason for not wanting to marry Wolfram. He’s scary. And uses crazy math where every calculation adds up to Bad Times for Yuuri.

On the plus side, I think Wolfram’s relationship with Conrad is getting much better, and he seems to behaving much more maturely this season round.

10) ...seriously, what? Have you not seen past the first season? Really. He was a selfish, racist brat, yes, who was quite cruel to his brother. Before. He's still pretty selfish, and likely at least retains some underlying racism (but he's got a human daughter for crying out loud--he can't hate humans or think they're beneath demons that much anymore), but he loves BOTH his brothers--just sucks at showing it to Conrad.

And I'm convinced he was never under the illusion that Yuuri LUUUVED him and wanted to be his husband. He just doesn't want to fully accept it, which makes him worthy of fandom's pity and the hope that maybe some day it'll be requited or he'll be able to move on.

Way to fail at fandom.

49. I'm just...never going to understand secrets like these. Look: we understand you dislike it. And guess what? That's okay. Seriously. Reborn! fans don't mind. Different strokes for different folks, right? Sure, maybe you'll get a few people who go OMG U SUCK if you say you dislike the series. They're dumb; not everyone is going to like the same things. But most of us? Not liking the series is no skin off our backs. We're not gonna lynch you. Why on earth would you think that? I shudder to think the sort of friends you must have, if they'd black list you for disliking a series even most fans will admit is flawed in many a way.

I just don't get why people make secrets like this. Disliking the series is perfectly valid. So is liking it. So...why?

WORD. Even before I had heard of yaoi (I'm a late bloomer, what can I say?), I used to watch that show and wonder if they were a couple. It's just so...obvious. And I've been making an AMV, gathering all the Hiei/Kurama-in-the-same-scene clips, and when they're all lined up like that, it's even more blatant.

16- I don't think you're alone. I did my work experience at a Magistrate's Court, and while I spent the whole first 2 days sitting there watching routine sentencing for minor offences, the clerk with me kept apologizing and telling me to "look forward to the real Rumpole of the Bailey stuff" the next day. Apparently she had a lot of kids (who unlike me were interested in future careers in law) discussing that, and other courtroom tv shows with her. Surprising, considering people my age would have been 2 years old when it went off the air...

I feel similarly, but for Gokudera. He's such a tragic character, and the trauma with his sister is always portrayed as LOLOLOL FUNNY. And his obsession with Tsuna is always used as a gag instead of a serious thing. He's a really, really broken and screwed up guy; he tears up quite a few times in the manga, but hardly ever is it done seriously. He's so desperate and tries incredibly hard over and over again. Not one single thing goes right for him. Though the most recent arc is being a lot more serious about both their characters. You'll have to be patient, I guess. Certainly keeps me reading~

Oh, Gokudera is damn depressing. I want to write angsty fic wherein Bianchi really has to deal with the fact that she causes her brother pain (if she even cares that much, given her own obsession with Reborn).

It...makes me cry. It also makes me laugh, and then feel bad about it later because, hey, that was some serious stuff I just found funny. But that's the definition of satire. I thought that I would be getting just you standard shounen fair-- I was very, very wrong.
