Aren't most public shootings committed by whiny white dudes tho lol.

(Anonymous) 2016-10-13 11:36 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm referring to incidents such as bombings or attacks carried out for ideological reasons.

(Anonymous) 2016-10-13 11:38 pm (UTC)(link)
backpeddling

(Anonymous) 2016-10-13 11:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Not really.

When the Paris attacks occurred did anyone think "This is probably some pissed off white guy from Reddit"?

(Anonymous) 2016-10-13 11:47 pm (UTC)(link)
whatever troll

(Anonymous) 2016-10-13 11:51 pm (UTC)(link)
You sure proved me wrong.

(Anonymous) 2016-10-14 02:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Saying it's usually Muslims is not an attack on all or even most Muslims. That said, if you don't count Daesh and other groups as true Muslims, then I agree with you. They use Islam as a cover for poisoning the minds of youth to commit acts of nihilism.

(Anonymous) 2016-10-15 03:18 pm (UTC)(link)
What is a "true" Muslim?

IRA was ideological. The Unabomber was ideological. Breivik was ideological. As the other anon said: over what time frame and where is totally relevant.

(Anonymous) 2016-10-13 11:43 pm (UTC)(link)
You want to look at the number of Muslim terrorist groups in the world today versus any other ideology?

(Anonymous) 2016-10-13 11:45 pm (UTC)(link)
If you're saying that at present radical Islamists are most oriented towards terrorism at present, then say that. Don't talk like it's some kind of eternal truth that has always been that way.

(Anonymous) 2016-10-14 12:24 am (UTC)(link)
within america's borders there are WAY more white supremacist terrorist groups according to the southern poverty law center reports, so uhhhh

again, when and where etc

(Anonymous) 2016-10-14 12:29 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah? When is the last time they committed a major attack on American soil?

(Anonymous) 2016-10-14 12:31 am (UTC)(link)
What are you defining as a "major attack" and when is the last time you think a Muslim organization did that

(Anonymous) 2016-10-14 12:55 am (UTC)(link)
'how many groups' was YOUR parameter my dude, don't go shifting the goal posts just because your shitty assumptions are wrong

(Anonymous) 2016-10-14 01:06 am (UTC)(link)
When was the last time that America attacked another country? Oh that's right, all the time. America is always going in, in the name of 'freedom' (but mainly in it's own self interest ie oil) and bombing other countries.
Does this mean that September 11 wasn't absolutely terrible? Of course not! Those people didn't deserve to die. But then, nor did the countless people who have died, when America once more goes in, to bomb another country.

I would also argue that every time there is a shooting rampage in the USA, that is a 'terrorist attack' so yes, there is a major attack on American soil all the time. Most of the time, it's a white person. Terrorism isn't just about people coming in from another country to do it.

(Anonymous) 2016-10-14 01:13 am (UTC)(link)
Wasn't the deadliest mass shooting in American history done by a Muslim?

But hey, those faggots had it coming, man. Even Christians agree with that.

(Anonymous) 2016-10-14 01:47 am (UTC)(link)
By your logic Obama is a terrorist leader. Do you agree with that?

(Anonymous) 2016-10-14 01:49 am (UTC)(link)
Not the most recent, but https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wisconsin_Sikh_temple_shooting

There was the Murrah Federal Building in '95, the mass infiltration of law enforcement agencies (as outlined in a 2006 FBI memo), the entire history of the KKK, the South's secession and subsequent war (which was big enough to cover at least 100 years), a hell of a lot of lynchings (which continue today), the systematic and ongoing genocide of Native Americans (including a good piece of my family), anything Joe Arpaio does, quite a lot of actions undertaken by Congress over the last 35+ years, the exclusion of anti-slavery actions within the US Constitution and other documents....

You may not consider more than the first item a white supremacist attack, and maybe not even that. However, every one of these is blatantly white supremacist down to the core. Even a single lynching should count as a major attack, because the impact to that person's family and community is as terrible as if they had died in a shooting.
