I just now watched the premiere. I was worried it would be too melodramatic, but I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. And I figured out the twist about 10 seconds before it was revealed, which is just how I like my twists.

I haven't seen TFA, but I finally checked this ship out. I did an AO3 search for the ship, rated Explicit, single chapter, and tagged with "dubious consent."

There were 43 results. And most of it was the most boring, sanitized antagonistic het I've ever read.

I feel very cheated by all the moral outrage.

I don't understand why people get so bent out of shape about reylo either, but that's a fairly specific search tbf. there's 119 under the rape tag (76 explicit). I dunno, I feel like the art is sort of.eh, "stronger lines". I know it sounds silly but I find less off them cute than previous generations.

I adore the last Popplio evolution, that's the one I was hoping was real. Also the giant bugs.

Ugh, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed. Usually I'm excited for new pokemon (I know some people like to constantly use their old favorites but I like to make teams of mostly new 'mons every gen because I love trying out the new guys) but there's something really unappealing about a lot of these designs. I appreciate the attempt behind a lot of them, trying to make them fit the Hawaii theme, but there's a robotic look to a lot of these that doesn't appeal to me, and a few are downright ugly.

I will be disappointed if that kitty is Fire/Fighting. >n> I'd rather its final evo be 4x weak to water at this rate like Rowlet's will be to ice.

The 5th and 6th rows have some sick looking designs. Very partial to that blue fish, the pink mushroom, and the alien spider. Though I also see more inanimate object Pokemon :\

what is going on 75-81????? they look like from a completely different game. there are some cute ones but... a lot of designs baffle me.

I like a lot of them. The Kinkyboots fruit one is amazing and I've been giggling about that for a while now. Basically I like.. the top five rows. The bottom ones are a lot more meh.

Compared to Black/White where I hated most of them (Purrloin I liked, Deerling, Emolga, and.... that's about it?)

Not really a fandom but I just watched an episode and have complaints.

-YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE SUPER CLOSE TO THE BEACH! You are not going to be going there every day because you are a working adult. A 15 minute walk won't kill you and going $300 over budget isn't worth it.

-Your family is not going to be visiting you enough to justify going over budget for that second bedroom.

-You want modern. She wants traditional. PICK A STYLE AND STOP MAKING YOUR REALTOR MISERABLE.

-No. You can't get a modern house right next to the beach with two bedrooms and two baths and ALSO has a pool and two car garage for the price of the pocket lint you gather every month.

RIGHT? And then there's all the people who "need" a huge chef's kitchen for their vacation home...as if you're going to be cooking five course dinners on your holidays.
