Re: Things you're genuinely afraid of
Losing my pension (I think it's less likely, though I have not got any letters from Centrelink since the phone appointment, meanwhile I have had two pays that are still at full pension level).
Indoor lightening strikes during electric storms - somewhat irrational though not impossible (it travels through wiring and water).
Falling down an escalator - I think this is a rational outgrowth of my fear of heights. Also, it's always downwards escalators.
Trump being voted in, causing World War 3.
The end of the world - which I would like to state is something of a religious fear, and comes coupled with worries about not going to Heaven.
