Not too shabby! I went yard-saling with my mom and aunt this morning and got some good deals, then came home and took a nap, then went to see my horse, who is looking good and was very affectionate today. So, yeah. It's been a pretty good day.

I would advise that even if it says it's waterproof, you might want to avoid using it in the shower or else make really, really sure any battery compartment and whatnot is properly, completely shut.

I dunno, that sounds to me more like you're hanging out with the wrong people? I mean, it's cool to be friends with people who are in different stages of life than you, but if you're friends with them, then they'd know you well enough to know that you prefer Disneyland over baby showers.

And if it's strangers who are making these assumptions, then their opinions don't really matter.

Thanks for the advice! As the expert, how would you recommend cleaning my new toy? After every use, I assume, but is just water and soap good enough? Do I need to pay attention to how I store it? This is what I got, if it helps:

The first time I tried a vibe with deep rumbly vibrations I yelped "I CAN FEEL IT IN MY BONES!" and that was just too weird for me. It didn't hurt at all, it just felt weird. I think I've got a fairly unpadded crotch though.

I suppose, though if it's a small/rare fandom where stuff is hard to find, I imagine finding *anything* would make fans kudo it just to be encouraging....

I honestly don't notice kudos and hits on the fic i read.

I have honestly never noticed the ratio of kudos to hits on the fic i read, and don't really pay attention to it much on my own fic, either. I mean - some fic out there has tons of both and they still suck, so it just doesn't seem like a reliable way to judge a fic, you know?

It's all down to fandom, pairing, and current fandom tastes, in my mind.

Maybe, but certain things are more common an certain age groups. And I feel like so many people just cling to their age group. I feel like I just keep getting sucked in with crowds I have nothing in common with, and this was far less of a problem, say, 8 years ago.

I guess it's been explained below, but who knows? If this ratio 'disparity' happens on *all* this person's fic, then I suppose it's a thing, but i honestly don't even notice the number of hits and kudos on the stuff i read.

I actually dislike the taste of regular soda. Coke leaves a weird taste in your mouth and makes your teeth feel filmy. I do like diet coke, though, for some reason.
