(Anonymous) 2016-12-02 08:25 am (UTC)(link)i think the reason i feel like i "miss" the ship is because for a good long while there it was a huge powerhouse everywhere i went. people were so passionate about the chance it could become canon you know? i mean i couldn't turn a corner without seeing someone rave about how much they loved it, and that fire has cooled down a little bit with time. which is fine, and if new content really is being produced at a rate like that, it inspires me to write more instead of feel like there's no point, but. i don't know this was a very sentimental and possibly stupid secret lmao

But there are a lot of writers still writing and I think that will continue at least up to the end of the series. Your secret may be a little sentimental, but it isn't stupid - the fandom does seem to have quieted down a bit, and though it's kind of expected at some point, it is disappointing.
