No thoughts at all about Season One or Two, unfortunately, given that I haven't played either (curse you, lack of Macintosh support). I'm waiting for the Wii release.

However, from what I've seen of the trailers and videos, the humor seems to be the same as it was in Hit the Road and the comics. I wouldn't say it's obscure, excluding the occasional rarely used word, but it's a particular kind of humor which I suppose not everyone might find funny. I dunno.

Hahahaha yes, the comics are hilarious.

If you liked the comics, you should like the games. Sam and Max Hit the Road (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sam_%26_Max_Hit_the_Road) is a classic adventure game and it's awesome if you lik adventure games. Then there a series of episodic games called Season One (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sam_%26_Max_Season_One) and Season Two (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sam_%26_Max_Season_Two). I haven't played them yet, but people tell me they're good too.

I have to (cautiously) agree with the offing Snake thing. I was talking to my friend about it today strangely enough (who doesn't play the series, but is a good listener...); I can't see Hideo Kojima actually killing Snake. There are other ways to bring a closure to someones 'life' without killing them. =/

I hope to God that hes just misleading us, though. Everyone I've seen has 'come to terms' with the fact that he's gonna die, so having him survive would throw them off so badly (and cause massive wank, which is always great fun to watch).
