See, I own some relatively low-end designer stuff, as in the most expensive of it retailed for $500-$600 dollars new. And I expect a couple of the pairs of boots I have to outlast me, provided I take them to a good cobbler every couple of years. But I couldn't justify a designer bag for myself, because I am hell on purses. My purses take a beating until they literally fall to bits.
