Got better at my job coupled with a small raise, a lot of positive feedback and added responsibilities :) and I might get another small raise soon (we have our annual review coming up)

Got a raise at work. Started dating my boyfriend, who is awesome. Learning how to drive (I'll get my license next year hopefully!). Played some fantastic new games. Built my own computer.

On a personal level, 2016 has been great!

Got a full time job in a new city after being unemployed for two years.

Got two cats a couple months back-been a nice, fun addition to our family :).

I had a couple temp jobs this year, that paid decently at that, so it was nice to have some money again this time.

I went to two great metal festivals, of which one was abroad and I went all by myself for the first time in my life and it was awesome! I had an amazing time with excellent shows.

I did get laid off from my previous work, this year, but I recently got another entirely different job and coworkers I like.

I even got myself a potential new partner. At work, no less, but he's working another branch so no conflict of interest or anything.

Etsy shop? Congrats! I was under the impression that making money off knitting /crochet work is tough.

Nah, just a couple supportive friends who understand what these things are worth and like my work enough to commission a few things.

I've thought about trying an Etsy shop but I'm a little wary of getting in the middle of that mess of other crafters not wanting prices to be too low because it undervalues it and uninformed people not knowing how expensive materials are and being unwilling to pay prices high enough to be worth it.

-I had a really nice 23rd birthday early in the year
-My brother & his wife adopted a second puppy, and I've gotten to spend lots of time this year with both dogs
-I went on a cross country road trip with a friend I made online & when we made it to her destination, I got to introduce her to my other brother, his girlfriend, and a friend of mine from college

Added two cats and two guinea pigs to my family, and was invited to be in a Baen anthology for a fandom by an author I'm super fond of.

Got a job after months and months of unemployment and being broke, and now have a small but cute apartment. As a result, I'm far less depressed than I was, so yay!
