09. I can't speak for X-Men, but Lupin's had scars in fanfiction long before the PoA movie was released. Though I do know what you're getting at and it irks me, too; I've just seen it more in fanart than fiction.

15. While it hardly made me hate Japan, the ending of Escaflowne did make me cry. God, the series end was ten times more intense than the movie's end.

2. ...So I'm really not the only one who hates Family Guy? Huzzah! I can't stand that many of my friends like it, and I wish it would disappear off the face of the earth, proper grammar or not.

13. As someone who'll watch both, I really don't understand how one could be "morally against" dubs, especially in this day and age when they're lightyears better than what they used to be a number of years ago. Some are still bad, yes, but I just don't get why so many people still pass them all off as some spawn of Satan just because they're in English.

But the Trigun dub? It wins on so many levels, but I may just be biased because I think Johnny Bosch is full of awesomeness as Vash (as well as most everything else he does, because I'm a pathetic fangirl). Most everyone I've encountered still considers that dub to be one of the best out there.

#15 - This is my favourite anime, and I have to disagree that it has anything to do with Japan. I mean, tons of other couples kissed in that anime, and TONS of kissing happens in all sorts of anime. And somehow, I thought the fact that all they did was hug made it more special in a way, with all of the kissing Allen had been doing throughout the series. ;) I dunno why, a lot of people were pissed by the lack of kiss, but I thought it was a beautiful scene.

13. I like dubs, myself (well, ones that aren't 4Kids butchered or anything like that. If editing is minimal, I like watching shows in my native language, but will watch Japanese/dub interchangibly)... BUT if you've got to pick only one dub to love/not hate, Trigun is a wise decision. It's been over 6 years and I'm still in love with Vash's dub voice. He's just great. I just think it's great to see more Trigun fans.

Seriously, I played the game and loved it and loved Alta'ir, and then looked for the fandom and was really disappointed. Everything was mary sue, or near to it, and there wasn't any Malik/Alta'ir, and I wanted me some of that snark.

I never said I liked the plot. Unfortunately though, it's the only thing I could find with a pudgy boy as the main focus. D: It's a terrible novel by all other accounts.
