My first anime was definitely one of the basics available to American children (Pokemon, Digimon, Sailor Moon, ETC)

But my first anime not specifically translated for kids was either Inuyasha or Cowboy Bebop, both of which left a lasting impression on 10 year old me and remain two of my absolute favorite shows.
