Mushishi gets me choked up at really weird moments. There are these certain images and phrases that just set me off for some reason. Like in the living god episode where the girl said that she liked having it in her because she woke up feeling new every day, and it had that image montage while she was saying it... Gah! I'm getting all leaky just describing it! ;_;

This is exactly what I'm referring to. It's not just you, that exact moment was one that I had in mind, along with the ending for the "sea snakes" and "rust" ones. And then there's the one with the children and the fire and man there are a lot of emotional Mushishi moments.
