Anti-vaxxers. It seems like every day more and more stupid people I see on FB reveal themselves to be one.

Tell me about it. And then they invade the workplace, and I'm like, dudes! We work in a hospital! I don't care that we're admin, finance, and support, don't be so fucking dumb about healthcare! Except I'm not, because I like my job and I don't want to be written up.

I'm seeing this too. I'm also seeing news articles with titles like "Scarlet fever is back, here's what parents need to look out for" and I'm just like THIS IS THE FRUITS OF YOUR LABOR, MORON ANTI VAXXERS. I don't wish harm on any child, but I do wish that, if any kid HAS to get these diseases that are coming back, it should be the kids of anti-vaxxers, just so the stupid fools can see exactly WHY those with the capacity for rational thinking vaccinate their kids.

I agree. I work in an elementary school and we've had cases of chicken pox in the last few years. And we have at least one student who can't be vaccinated because of immune system issues (she has many other health issues as well) and they had to make sure that every person that worked with her had either had been vaccinated, or if too old, had had the chicken pox already. She's not normally in the classroom, but they had to also keep her away from the other kids, just in case. Luckily, she didn't catch them.

So, yeah, it's not just their own kids they're trying to kill.

Sure, I know, selfish as shit, right? Well the way I see it, there's no good reason to hate anyone, so if all I have is a bad reason based on my personal unhappiness at the time, I think I can live with that.

I didn't vote for him, but I kind of agree. People trying to act like he has no claim to his position are no better than the useless birthers during Obama's presidency.

I just want to shake them and go, "Trump is president. Accept it. It's reality. Because the sooner you accept reality, the sooner you can actually DO SOMETHING about it in a constructive way, instead of just sticking your head in the sand or plugging your fingers in your ears going 'la la la I can't hear you!' or spewing hatred all day long."

Plenty of people are doing things. Complaining about him being president or saying stuff like "he's not my president" (no one saying that really believes he's not the actual president..) doesn't stop someone from doing something.

Shaking someone would just make you an ass and wouldn't encourage anyone to do anything, and would be pretty fucking stupid if they were already doing stuff.

I'm anti-Trump so I'm not on board with that comment, but I AM tired of the mentality from the anti-Trump side that you're not allowed to question anything or have any sort of divergent viewpoint from... whatever their consensus of the week is. That really isn't any better than what Trump's side is positing.

I was """PRO Trump""" - Not really, but I questioned everything I was told and just expected to believe, and was not quiet about saying when I thought the anti-trump side were being pretty ridiculous which is the same thing by some people's measure - I gave the Dude the benefit of every doubt going on everything.

Now that he's been at the job for a spell, I'm comfortable saying this: I was wrong. I still don't hold with the anti-trump side completely, I wonder how much people base on facts and how much they base on what they have been told and choose to believe, but for me, we've seen him at it I tried to give him the fairest shake I can. He's a terrible president, he's making terrible decisions, and I just can't support him.

I wouldn't say I hate them, but the group of people I am incredibly irritated at the most right now are the kind of breastfeeding moms who think that doing it makes them the modern incarnation of Hathor, divine cow goddess of child rearing, and that literally everything should revolve around how amazing and miraculous they are for knowing how to give babby their nip. Special shout-out to the ones who actively berate moms who formula feed, or who go around whining that "fed is best" (as opposed to "breast is best") demeans the process of breastfeeding and devalues their magical divine baby-juice. Like no, I get that nursing is hella tough and that titty milk is genuinely really good for babby, but that IN NO WAY means that moms who can't do it are "poisoning" their kids by feeding them formula, or that they are The Worst Mothers Ever for doing so. And you are NOT a magic celestial milk goddess, you are a mammal doing what all mammals do, and the whole world does not need to revolve around your milk glands.

I'm not real thrilled with people who demand that everybody should find breast-feeding beautiful. I don't think it's gross or anything but I don't think it's beautiful either.
