When the movie first came out, i specifically remember watching it in the cinema around 3 or 4 times with my eldest brother because i loved it so much.
So because of it i started finding books about greek mythology and the gods etc. (yes yes i was an odd 7 year old) and when i found out about Hercules going crazy and killing his wife and children...

I was heartbroken ;_;

I got into Greek mythology as a kid, too, thanks to Hercules. I was so excited when we started studying Greece in the sixth grade, but was sorely disappointed at the small information I got on Greek gods/legends. Fail text book.

Kinda glad I never found out about Hercules killing Meg and the kids until... now. XD

39. It's not really "cheating"--it's all dialogue, but it's still possible to fuck up on characterization. It's just for fun, anyway, buddy. You can still find third-person roleplays if you want to, and if you don't want to read first-person "cheaters" then just... don't.

Not necessarily! I love SPN to death and spend quite a bit of time thinking about the different dynamics on the show and discussing them with a friend or two, but you couldn't get me near the main fancommunity if you tied me up and dragged me, so I really couldn't say I'm in fandom. :P I've gotten linked to waaay too many examples of crazy in that direction.
