Yes, once I was at my parent's house and saw a highway patrol man (state police) walking up the front walk with his head down and a serious, sad expression on his face. It scared me so I ducked around the corner into the kitchen, waiting for him to knock on the door, but no knock came. After a minute I looked out and no one was there, so I went outside to look for him, and no one was there. There was no car or anything, nothing, nobody. It kinda freaked me out, and it happened like 30 years ago.

I don't suppose it counts but once their was a banging on the door that honestly only sounded like it could be from a fist pounding on the door. Either it was a ghost or some person walking from door to door pounding on random people's doors.

Scared the shit outta me, especially cause I was alone. If I heard it again I would have gotten right up, grabbed my pocketknife and closed the window curtains.

When I lived with my parents, and I'd be dozing and almost asleep. Once or twice a month I'd hear a deep really rumbling harsh voice say my name INSIDE my head, like someone was trying to get my attention. I have a three syllable first name and each syllable was articulated like a shout almost. It always jerked me awake.

I moved out and haven't heard it since.

Great, demon in the backyard/house. That's not something I want to deal with, thank you. But I'm supposed to inherit the house.

I had a minor OOBE once, the sensation of floating over my own body while I was sitting in a theatre waiting for a play to start. It was very similar to the feeling I get when I've had nitrous oxide during dental procedures, but not as dizzying. I was 16 or 17 at the time, completely sober, and not particularly tired/bored/sick. Very weird.
